Finance OST Hubs
We are establishing five dedicated hubs, each focused on key financial functions and reporting directly to Penn State Finance and Business. Staff primarily responsible for financial duties across the University, along with financial processes, will transition into this new structure.
All University financial duties will be organized in the following hubs:
Bursar
This hub will manage the entire student financial lifecycle, bringing together dedicated experts and streamlining services and support.
Controllership
This hub will strengthen the University’s accounting and fiscal compliance through payroll, financial reporting, internal billing and general accounting.
Treasury and Accounts Receivable
This hub supports Penn State‘s financial liquidity, compliance, and effective revenue management.
Procurement and Accounts Payable
This hub will drive efficient, compliant financial operations through expert management of purchasing, payments, and vendor relations.
Financial Planning, Analysis, and Coordination
This hub provides financial planning, reporting, and strategic financial partnership services to support the University and individual unit’s fiscal health and decision-making.
